Refund Policy

Winterfrost Systems Ltd. Refund Policy
Effective October 3, 2007

Winterfrost strives to ensure total customer satisfaction with all of our products.

To this end, we supply freely available, functionally restricted demonstration versions of our products where appropriate, and may make fully-functional time-limited versions of our software available upon request. We offer online documentation and support forums where pre-sales and technical support questions can be answered. And we work diligently to try and resolve any issues our customers may encounter with our products.

In the event that you are not satisfied with our product, you may request a refund. However, given the "single use" nature of Alter-Ego for many customers, we will only consider refunds for Alter-Ego under these specific circumstances:

  • Within 30 days of purchase, if your license has not been activated.

  • If you find a bug which prevents you from completing the majority of your migration and we are unable to resolve it within your migration timeline. These bugs must be reported within 30 days of activation, and 60 days of purchase, and copies of all relevant logs must be submitted to Winterfrost support for review.

Refunds will never be granted beyond 60 days after the purchase date, for any reason.

Under no circumstances will we grant a refund for Alter-Ego due to unsuitability of purpose, lack of need, or similar reasons after the product has been activated. We strongly encourage all of our users to use the demo versions of Alter-Ego to fully evaluate the application before purchase.

All requests for refunds will be reviewed and granted or denied at the sole discretion of Winterfrost Systems. We do not guarantee a refund under any circumstances.
