The Easy Setup Wizard provides a step-by-step guide to completing your migration. The wizard gathers profile migration details, imports computers, imports users whose profiles will be migrated, and correctly assigns accounts to the correct authentication roles by using the Authentication Wizard.
Given the numerous potential migration methods supported by Alter-Ego, we highly recommend that all users, even experienced ones, use this wizard to set the global settings for all migrations.
The questions asked during the Easy Setup Wizard will vary depending on the choices made. Therefore, individual step-by-step guides are provided for each of the 3 basic migration types: Domain Change Only, Profile Migration Only, and Profile Migration + Domain Change.
